Working in Both Directions$48
Knitting is a two-handed sport, and most of us play by making new stitches on the right-hand needle from old stitches held on the left-hand needle. We turn our work around and repeat, knitting from the left needle onto the right needle. But what if we could work with the RS always facing us? Without having to turn the heavy afghan with many stitches or for the bobble with few, to see the patterning in an intarsia pattern or work the units of an entrelac project. In class you will learn how to work both knit and purl stitches with the RS facing you, as well as how to decipher instructions written for standard turn-based patterns.
Instructor - Beth Whiteside
