Knitting 101 $66

Welcome to the world of yarn! Learn to cast on, knit & purl, bind off, etc. Start your first scarf, poncho or blanket in week 3!

Hats 201 $48

Take your hat-making skills to the next level in just 2 hours! Learn how to stripe using different colored/textured yarns, how to use different stitch combinations (including cable, checker, rib, and twisted rib), and how to add ear flaps, brims, pompons, and duplicate stitches. (A perfect follow-up to Hats 101.)

Crochet Hats$48

Crochet hats are so easy to adapt! Starting from the top down with the “adjustable magic ring” method, learn the standard formula for increasing. As you work down, you’ll figure out how to apply different stitch patterns, jogless stripes, and brims to your hat. A great follow-up to Crochet 101.

Continental Knitting$40

Mix it up! The Continental method of knitting is where your yarn in held in the left hand and is “picked” by the needle. This class is perfect for knitters who knit “English” style, meaning the yarn is carried in the right hand and “thrown” around the needle.

Fixing Mistakes$40

Mistakes happen, whether you're brand new to knitting or not! Learn how to pick up a dropped stitch, unknitting and unpurling, "frogging" with confidence, and more. You'll learn how mistakes happen, how to fix them, and how to prevent them! (A great follow-up to Knitting 101.)

Sock it to Me!$66

Cold feet? Not after this class! Socks are fun and easy - especially when knit on two circular needles. You'll learn the basic principles of cuff-down sock construction: from turning the heel, to grafting the toe.

Toe Up Socks$48

Hand knitted socks are luxurious and addictive! Make a custom fitted sock from the toe up “recipe” for “plain vanilla” socks. By choosing from different cast ons and heel treatments and ending with “Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy” bind off, you can go on to knit all sorts of fancy socks! This is a great follow up to our “Sock it to Me” class.

Class Policies

  • Classes must be paid in full at the time of registration in order to hold your spot.
  • All supplies must be purchased before the class.
  • Upon signing up for a class, any changes in attendance must be made three days prior to the start of the class. If you need to cancel a class, we will issue you a store credit for the amount paid. Unfortunately, cancellations made with fewer than three days' notice result in a forfeiture of the registration fee.
  • There are no make up sessions if one of the class sessions is missed.
  • Classes have minimum enrollments; if these are not met, we reserve the right to cancel classes with 24 hours notice. Refunds for classes we cancel will be given in the method paid.
